Meet Laura
Laura went to law school because she wanted to be able to help people in a tangible way, and when she was introduced to disability law, it was kismet. A cancer survivor who lives with a chronic illness herself, Laura understands what it is like to be in her clients’ shoes and has the drive and skill to pursue their cases until a just result is reached.
Laura has a knack for explaining confusing concepts and legal principles in an understandable way, and has been called the smartest attorney in West Michigan. She has top-notch legal research, analysis, and writing skills honed over more than a decade of practice, including a federal clerkship. When she is not fighting for her clients, she loves being the cool aunt to her niece and nephew, sewing, reading, and attending Broadway shows.
